Winter Positions

We have completed the majority of our winter hiring for this season. There are still some open positions which we need to fill as posted below.  Please note that any future job openings will be posted here so please check back throughout the season.   All winter positions are either seasonal positions or part-time positions and do not include benefits.  Winter positions are weather dependent and normally start in early December and end in late March. Winter employees are encouraged to apply for continued employment at the resort for our spring and summertime activities.

Cleaner:  Cleans bathrooms, empties trash & recyclables, vacuums, mops and uses floor cleaning machinery.  Responsible for other cleaning projects as needed. This is a physically demanding position. Responsible for ensuring clean and sanitary conditions in all areas of the lodges. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.  Hours may be late nights and/or early mornings (when the lodges are closed. All applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Mountain Coaster Worker:  Will assist riders in loading and unloading coaster cars and provide them with instruction on safety protocols and the proper use of coaster cars. Responsibilities include verifying that all riders have tickets and wristbands and that they meet the age, weight and height requirements. Duties also include inspection of tracks and cars, maintaining loading and unloading ramps, maintaining daily logs, and keeping the general area and coaster cars clean. You will be in direct contact with our guests and are expected to be friendly and helpful when greeting and assisting them. You will be working outside in all types of weather and must be agile on rough terrain. Cori background checks are required.   You must pass on on-site training session in order to be hired.  All applicants must be at least age 18 .

Whitewater Positions

Raft Guides:  Berkshire Whitewater is looking for energetic and enthusiastic people to join our team as whitewater raft guides for our 2017 season.  Applicants must be age 18+ and comfortable working in moving water, be customer service oriented and good with children. Duties include but are not limited to; preparation of gear prior to trip, positive interaction with guests, guiding of whitewater rafts, cleaning, proper maintenance of gear, driving company vehicles, & food preparation. Employment is contingent on passing CORI background check and successful completion of our guide training program.  Guides will also be required to have First Aid & CPR. Applicants are required to have a flexible schedule as hours vary. Guides must be available weekends, holidays, and some early evenings. Employment start dates will be based on experience, but applicants should expect to begin work around the start of May.
