Berkshire East Racing Team

 

Hello

My name is Jon Schaefer, I am the assistant General Manager of Berkshire East Ski Area. Many of you guys have seen me working around the mountain, but a lot of might not know, that I grew up on the BEST ski team. My brothers and I, raced for BEST for most of our adolescent lives and took the sport pretty far, we traveled to Europe, New Zealand and Australia, not to mention, most of the U.S. and Canada, racing and experiencing an amazing lifestyle unique to this awesome sport.

 

BEST is a great program. We, the Schaefer family, will always work to support skiing at our local level. This new site is one aspect of our continued interest. This is the main page for all things racing. You will find directions to meets, entry information and other stuff. There are also some basic forms all racers need to have filled out, signed and in my hand before you can hit one single gate. These are the forms you need to fill out:
