Age Requirements

It is our business practice to offer employment to youths age 16 and over, (not younger).  Summer youth staff can apply for jobs including   adventure park monitor, food service, and mountain coaster attendant. Winter positions available for youths age 16 -age 17 include;  snowsports instructors, dishwashers, bussers, Children’s Center staff, and a limited number of rental shop attendants. Opportunities also exist for ticket sellers, retail clerks and food cashiers if the youth applicant has prior sales and cashiering experience.  Work permits are required prior to hire for any youths under the age of 18.

Full-time Year Round Jobs

Head Chef :  Direct and oversee the food service of the Crazy Horse Bar & Grille ensuring excellent quality control, efficient service and an appealing menu.   We are looking for an experienced and creative chef to join our team at The Crazy Horse Bar and Grille. The Head Chef is responsible for developing the menu, managing all kitchen staff, maintaining quality control and managing inventory and purchasing. The ideal candidate will have proven success in the kitchen as an effective and efficient leader who is able to motivate and work collaboratively with kitchen staff. Five years of related experience including managing a kitchen is required. Shifts include nights, weekends and holidays.

 

 

Bike Park Jobs

Our bike park is expected to reopen in May and typically runs through early November.   Most positions are part-time (up to 30 hours per week), and include weekend shifts.    Trail Crew positions expected to start in April, (weather dependent).

Bike Mechanic: Service, maintain and repair mountain bikes for our rental fleet and for guests who ride at Thunder Mountain Bike Park.

Bike Guide: Provide  mountain bike instruction and guidance to guests using the Thunder Mountain Bike Park.

Trail Crew: Build and maintain downhill mountain bike trails at Thunder Mountain Bike Park.

 

Whitewater Rafting Jobs

Our whiteater rafting trips start running the end of March / beginning of April depending upon weather and river conditions.  Our rafting trips run through mid-October with weekends and holidays being our busiest times.

Raft GuideProvide instruction and guidance to guests on whitewater rafting trips.

Raft Guide-  training & other requirements: We  provide river raft guide training prior to being hired.  Intensive 8 Day New Guide Training Program: May 19th-25th 2018 with possible opportunity to start new guide training prior to this.  New guides are required to complete a check-off trip before commercially guiding. Experienced guides will be assessed on an individual basis and required to perform a check off trip for each section of river they intended to commercially guide.   During training we will provide: transport to and from river, some lunches, and all required safety equipment including wetsuits.   Hiring and Training considerations take preference to applicants who have availability through mid September. Weekends and Holidays are required.

 

Other Resort Jobs

We’re ramping up staff for our summer activities!  We are taking applications for spring and summer hires.  These positions are part-time (up to 30 hours per week), and include weekend shifts.

Lift Attendant: Monitors loading and unloading of guests and related equipment on chair and ground carpet lifts.

Mountain Coaster: Assist riders in loading and unloading coaster cars and provide them with instruction on safety protocols and the proper use of ride.
