To apply for a posted position, please click the job description you’d like to apply to. This will take you to our employment application system to create an applicant profile. You will be able to view the detailed job description and apply for the position. Be sure to remember your user ID and password as you will be able to log back into the employment site to review the status of your application, update your profile, or to view and apply for other open positions.
It is our business practice to offer employment to youths age 16 and over. Summer youth staff can apply for jobs including adventure park monitor, and some food service positions. Winter positions available for youths age 16 -age 17 include; snowsports instructors, dishwashers, bussers, Children’s Center staff, and a limited number of rental shop attendants. Opportunities also exist for customer service staff and food cashiers if the youth applicant has prior sales and cashiering experience. Work permits are required prior to hire for any youths under the age of 18.
We are now accepting applications for the upcoming winter season. Most of our winter postions are temporary part-time positions (up to 30 hours per week). Positions will not start until the resort opens for the 2018-2019 ski season. Our ski season is weather dependent and typically runs from early December to late March. Lift Attendant: Monitor loading and unloading of guests and related equipment on chair and ground carpet lifts.
Berkshire Whitewater is looking for energetic and enthusiastic people to join our team as whitewater raft guides for our 2019 season. Applicants must be age 18+ and comfortable working in moving water, be customer service oriented and good with children. Duties include but are not limited to; preparation of gear prior to trip, positive interaction with guests, guiding of rafts in both whitewater and moving/flat water, proper maintenance of gear, driving company vehicles, & food preparation. Employment is contingent on passing a CORI background check and successful completion of one of our guide training programs. Guides will also be required to have a minimum of First Aid & CPR, higher certifications are encouraged, but not required. Guides must be available weekends, holidays, and some early evenings. Employment start dates will be based on experience, satisfactory completion of a check-off trip, and attendance of one of the following Guide Training Sessions.
Dates for the Guide Training Program are:
Session 1: April 10th-14th 2019 (Grade I -III)
Session 2: May 18th-24th 2019 (Grade I-III)
Session 3: May 25th& 26th 2019 (Grade III – IV+)
