Age Requirements

It is our business practice to offer employment to youths age 16 and over, (not younger).  Summer youth staff can apply for jobs including  adventure park monitor, and some food service positions.  Winter positions available for youths age 16 -age 17 include;  snowsports instructors, dishwashers, bussers, Children’s Center staff, and a limited number of rental shop attendants. Opportunities also exist for customer service staff and food cashiers if the youth applicant has prior sales and cashiering experience.  Work permits are required prior to hire for any youths under the age of 18.

 

Upcoming Winter Positions

We are now accepting applications for the upcoming winter season.  Most of our winter postions are temporary part-time positions (up to 30 hours per week).  Positions will not start until the resort opens for the 2018-2019 ski season.  Our ski season is weather dependent and typically runs from early December to late March.  Youth applicants; please note age restrictions shown above before applying.

 

Bartender:  Mix and serve drinks and beverages to patrons of bar and restaurant following standard recipes.

Busser: Clear tables & trash,  wash dishes,  clean, sweep floors,  and restock food service areas.

Children’s Center: Provide activities, playtime and supervision for children ages  2 1/2 – age 6. 
 
Children’s Center Supervisor: Oversee and manage the  Children’s  Play & Ski Center at the resort.
 
Cleaner:  Clean lodges,  empty trash & recyclables, vacuum, mop and use floor cleaning machinery.
 
Cook: Prepare and cook short order foods minimizing loss and waste.
 
Customer Service: Sell tickets, activities and retail products providing friendly and helpful services for guests.

Dishwasher: Wash dishes,  cooking utensils, pots and pans using machine and manual cleaning methods.

Food Cashier: Sell food and beverage items using  computerized register system(s).

 
Lift Attendant: Monitor loading and unloading of guests and related equipment on chair and ground carpet lifts.
 
Pro Ski Patrol: Respond to reported emergencies and provide emergency treatment. 

 

Rental Technician: Properly select and fit ski and snowboard equipment for rental customers.

Server: Sell food and beverage items for guests visiting the restaurant and bar.

Ski Tuning Technician: Tune and repair alpine skis and snowboards for guests and rental department.

Snowmaker – Groomer:  Operate and maintain snow guns, hoses, hydrants and pumps creating manufactured snow.                                     Experienced snowgroomer operator preferred.  

Snowsports Instructor: Teach ski and/or snowboard skills to students of all ages and abilities.
