MAXXIS Eastern States Cup - Thule Showdown

The Eastern States Cup Thule Showdown will be visiting Thunder Mountain Bike Park on Aug 9th and 10th. We are looking for course marshals for training day (Aug 9th) and race day (Aug 10th).

In return for one day of volunteering, you will receive a bag lunch on your day of volunteering as well as a voucher for one of the following: (2) All Day lift Tickets for Thunder Mountain Bike Park, (2) All Day Ski Lift Tickets, (1) MT or VJ Zip Line Tour, or (1) Fife Brook Raft Trip. 

Duties include: Monitoring a course section during race or practice, keeping spectators off race course, notifying competitors of oncoming bikers, notifying head marshall of any crashes, and cheering on competitors. Please know that the estimated end time is dependent on when the race ends. It is fun event and we are excited to help promote biking in Western Massachusetts.

Saturday
9:00am – 1:00pm Registration
9:00am – 5:00pm Open Enduro Practice
9:00am – 2:45pm Intense DH Practice
3:00pm – Timed Intense DH Seeding Runs for Pro, Expert and 50+ Classes
After Timed Intense DH Seeding ends Intense DH Practice Resumes until 5:00pm
