Reserve a bike to make sure you've got all the necessary equipment for your experience.
Taking a lesson at Thunder Mountain Bike Park is the best way to get the most from your day. Our trained guides and instructors are ready to assist any level rider and we have lessons for all ages and abilities. Please be sure that all minors that are not traveling with a parent or legal guardian have a waiver signed prior to their visit. Parents or legal guardians can sign a waiver by clicking this link.

Renting a Bike at Thunder Mountain Bike Park
Reserving your bike rental online is super easy. Follow the 5-step process starting with the date you're intending to visit and the bike you want. Answer a few more questions and you'll be good to go. All bike rentals include a protective gear rental package. Rental insurance is also available.
If you are renting a bike, you can add your lift ticket on to your rental reservation as an extra - you do not need to purchase a lift ticket separately.
Thunder Mountain Bike Park is a Yeti Demo Center. We have SB150's & SB165's as part of our premium demo fleet. Our shop also carries Specialized Demo Experts, Rocky Mountain Altitudes, and Transition Ripcord 24s.
Rentals require a signed rental form. Riders under 18 years-old must have a signed Thunder Mountain Bike Park waiver and rental form from a parent or legal guardian before they an ride.
All same day bike rentals will be restricted to half-day afternoon only.

101 Learn to Ride Package
The Thunder Mountain 101 Package: Our trained guides will teach you the basic skills necessary to get comfortable on the bike. It’s the perfect way to be introduced to the sport of downhill mountain biking.

Group Bike Lessons
Our group lessons are geared toward beginner and intermediate riders. Our trained guides will teach you the skills that you need to become a better rider.

Private Bike Lesson
Private lessons are for riders that want one-on-one coaching. The lessons will focus on what the individual wants to work on. This could range from beginner skills to learning how to jump.
