Monroe Bridge (II-IV)

Rafting at Monroe Bridge

What is the Monroe Bridge Trip?

The Monroe Bridge section of the Deerfield River is the most exciting river rafting in Massachusetts! A narrow river bed that continually drops over the course of five miles through class III and IV whitewater. Non-stop action from put-in to take-out is what you’ll get on the Monroe Bridge rafting trip. The rapids crescendo with the biggest rapid of the day, “Dragon’s Tooth” (IV) – which leads directly into the longest rapid, a labyrinth of white water and boulders known to our guides as “Terminator” (IV).

This is New England’s premier rafting trip!

The Monroe Bridge section stacks up to any Class III/IV trip you’ll find, and is a great value for the money. Close to Boston (2.5 hrs) and NYC (3.5 hrs), it can’t be beat. The trips are limited and so are the seats, so plan your weekend away around this phenomenal rafting experience!
