Join us for the Junior Explorers program!

New this year we are offering Junior Explorers on Saturday afternoons (currently for skiers only). 

This program historically sells out. Click this link to join our lottery. We draw from the lottery weekly starting 10/21, until the program is at capacity.

Junior Explorers is a 6-week, 2 hour seasonal program for kids ages 5 to 7 years old. This program will cater to children of all abilities, novice through advanced, interested in improving their skiing or riding in a social environment.

Groups will be split by ability. To maximize learning and attention, groups will be kept small, typically ranging from three to five children. 

Lift tickets and rentals are not included in the Junior Explorers program. Lift tickets can be purchased with the lesson as a package. Rentals must be purchased separately.

Dates: 1/4, 1/11, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/22

Our most popular children's program, Mountain Explorers, runs for six weeks and provides kids of all abilities the consistency and group environment they need to learn new skills and develop a lifelong passion for skiing and riding.

Kids 8-14 are grouped by ability from first-time skiers and riders to those ripping every trail on the mountain.

Lift tickets and rentals are not included in the Junior Explorers program. Lift tickets can be purchased with the lesson as a package. Rentals must be purchased separately.

Ages: 7 - 14

Saturday Mornings - 9:00 to 12:00

Dates: 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, (skip 2/14), 2/21, 2/28.

Berkshire Freeride is for kids seeking to learn and expand freestyle skills in the terrain park and all over the mountain.

Ski and snowboard groups will be split by ability and coaches will focus on honing in fundamentals and progression. Participants should expect to ski and ride bumps, trees (as weather allows), natural drops, natural jumps and small / medium terrain park features. This program is non competitive and geared towards kids looking for an outlet beyond Mountain Explorers or Racing. 

This program is for advanced to expert skiers and riders. Participants must be able to autonomously be able to link turns on black diamond trails. Skiers must be making parallel turns consistently on advanced terrain. Snowboarders must be linking heel and toes side turns on black trails and be able to ride switch. Skiers and riders must be proficient off piste (off groomed trails).
