We offer private lessons on the hour between 9am and 3pm on weekends. One, two and six hour lessons are all designed to maximize individual attention and learning. One and two hour blocks are perfect for young children just getting into the sport, or those looking for a few tips to take their skiing or riding to the next level. Six hour blocks are designed for children and adults looking to maximize their time on snow.

Semi-Private Lessons

All of our lessons can be purchased as semi-private experiences and are built for friends and families. One and two hour lessons are sold at a base rate, with additional costs to add guests to the lesson.

Full Day Private Lessons

Six hour lessons run from 9am-3pm or 10am-4pm. These full day privates are sold at a flat rate and can accommodate 1-5 guests of the same party. If you are a family looking for full day supervision and instruction, this is the lesson for you! Skiers and riders who are serious about learning and want ample time to practice, will enjoy the flexibility of this product. Six hour lessons do not include a gap for lunch. Guests may agree upon a lunch time with the instructor at the beginning of the lesson.

  • Advanced reservations are strongly recommended and payment in full is required at the time of booking. 
  • Lift tickets and rentals are not included in lesson costs. Tickets and rentals must be reserved through our webstore or over the phone. All participants, regardless of age, must carry a valid lift ticket or season pass to take a lesson. Children six and younger ski for free. Tot tickets must be secured to the child, or be placed in a zippered pocket. All participants must sign a Lessons and Programs Waiver before their lesson starts.

Want to request an instructor? Let our reservationists know when you book or give us a call. We cannot guarantee requests, but will always do our best to accommodate them. The more lead time you give us and your instructor, the better!

Want to try skiing or snowboarding but don’t have equipment? The Berkshire East Learn to Turn Package is the best way to try skiing or snowboarding for the first time. Get yourself hooked with this lift, rental, and group lesson package. Participants must be 7 or older.

With this package, you will receive a full day Lower Mountain lift ticket, a ski or snowboard rental package, and a 2 hour first time group lesson.

Night packages include a nighttime Lower Mountain lift ticket, a ski or snowboard rental package, and a 1 hour first time group lesson.

Advanced reservations are recommended and payment in full is required at time of booking.

Please arrive at the rental shop at least an hour before your lesson time to try on and pick up equipment. Guests should arrive at the group lesson meeting area 15 minutes before the lesson start time. Those who are late to their lesson may not be able to join after the lesson has started.

The Return to Learn Package may just be the best deal in all of skiing! After the completion of our Learn to Turn Package, continue the learning process with a 2-day lift ticket, rental, and group lesson for a steal! While we feel the learning process never ends, 3 full days of learning with our Learn to Turn and Return to Learn packages gives most people the skills to explore green trails from the top of the mountain and start preparing to tackle blue intermediate trails. Participants must be 7 or older.

After purchasing the Return to Learn Package, two vouchers will be loaded to your account, one for the day of the lesson and one for future use. When you're ready to redeem your second voucher, give us a call or stop in the office to make your reservation.

Participants must have completed the Learn to Turn Package within the current season (2024-2025). The Return to Learn Package is only valid for the current season (2024-2025) and does not carry over between seasons. Vouchers loaded to your guest record are not transferable. 

Return to Learn lessons are 2 hours long and offered on weekends at 10:00 am and occasionally at 1:00pm.

Groups will be split by ability. To maximize learning and attention, groups will be kept small, typically ranging from three to five children. 

Junior Explorers will meet for 6 weeks on Sundays.

These 2-hour group lessons are offered as either a Morning 10am-12pm session or an Afternoon 1:30pm-3:30pm session.

Lift tickets and rentals are not included in the Junior Explorers program and must be purchased separately.

A valid lift ticket or season pass is required to participate in Junior Explorers.

Designed for kids ages 8-14, kids are grouped by ability from first-time skiers and riders to those ripping every trail on the mountain. 

These 3-hour group lessons are offered as either a Morning 9am-12pm session or an Afternoon 1pm-4pm session.

Mountain Explorers will meet for 6 weeks on Sundays.

Lift tickets and rentals are not included in the Mountain Explorers program and must be purchased separately.

A valid lift ticket or season pass is required to participate in Mountain Explorers.

This comprehensive program offers tailored instruction from our very best ski and snowboard instructors who will focus on technique and confidence-building in a supportive environment.

Participants will benefit from personalized feedback and group camaraderie while exploring a variety of terrain.

Saturday Mountain Masters is restricted to skiiers only.

The midweek program meets on one weekday morning from 9am until noon for eight weeks from January through March.

The Saturday program meets on Saturday morning from 9am until noon for four weeks from February through March.

Participants will build skills week to week through the continuity of skiing or riding with the same group and instructor each week.  You'll get on the hill early each day to enjoy fresh corduroy on uncrowded trails serviced by our new high speed quad in a fun social environment.

Private groups may be pre-formed by a group leader with five to six participants required to run a private group.  Private groups who fail to secure five skiers or riders may have members of the public added in or they may opt to "buy out" empty slots if they wish to keep their group private.

Guests not in a pre-formed group may sign up online, over the phone, or via email and will be assigned a group based on ability.
