Berkshire East has three tubing lanes that are groomed to help you speed all 500 feet down. A "magic carpet" zips you back up as you catch your breath to take another run.
The tubing area is tucked off to the side. But the resort is compact enough that you feel part of the whole experience.
Tickets for a 90-minute session are $20, and must be reserved online ahead of time.
You can nosh on base food or bring along your thermos of warm winter drinks and snacks to go with."
